RCube is a small business consisting of 9  employees (with a customer base of 5 large and  35 small to medium sized customers) based in  Wetherill Park NSW, that provides IT asset  disposition (ITAD) services throughout  Australia.

Through the third-party partnership, RCube can  provide nationwide servicing and  transportation of client assets back to the  Wetherill Park Head Office for E-Waste  processing.

Management (the supervisor and / or  manager) is responsible for providing  and maintaining: 

  • Provide a safe and healthful workplace and  ensure that personnel are properly trained and  have appropriate safety and emergency  equipment.  

Staff are responsible for:  

  • Being an environmentally responsible neighbour in  the communities where we operate, and act  promptly and responsibly to correct incidents or  conditions that endanger health, safety, or the  environment. Report them to authorities promptly  and inform affected parties as appropriate. 
  • Develop, manufacture, and market products that are  safe for their intended use, efficient in their use of  energy, protective of the environment, and that can  be reused, recycled or disposed of safely.
  • Dispose of E-Waste and standard waste according  to regulatory laws and regulations, and in a  responsible manner.
  • Conserve natural resources by reusing and  recycling materials, purchasing recycled materials,  and using recyclable packaging and other materials.
  • Ensure the responsible use of energy throughout  our business, including conserving energy,  improving energy efficiency, and giving preference  to renewable over non-renewable energy sources  when feasible.

Application of this Policy:

  • Conserve natural resources by reusing and recycling  materials, purchasing recycled materials, and using  recyclable packaging and other materials. 
  • Strive to continually improve RCube’s environmental  management system and performance 
  • Ensure that employees are focused on preventing  pollution incidents through effective risk management
  • Continuously improve integrated management  systems via audit processes 
  • Comply with relevant environmental laws and  regulations & AS/ NZS 14001 and ISO 5377 
  • Involve and consult employees and customers and  refer to Government and regulatory documents to  identify improved waste disposal. 
  • Conduct internal audits of RCube’s compliance,  measure progress of environmental impact and  implement strategies to reduce environmental impact 
  • Dispose of E-Waste and standard waste according to  regulatory laws and regulations, and in a responsible  manner. 
  • Investigate all incidents of misuse / inappropriate  disposal of E-Waste and standard waste, which does  not comply with Company or statutory requirements,  and implement preventive actions to minimise the risk  of occurrence.
  • We seek the co-operation of all workers, customers and other persons. We encourage suggestions for  realising our environmental objectives to foster an environmentally sustainable business with a 98%  recycling rate. 
  • This policy applies to all business operations and functions, including those situations where workers are  required to work off-site.
